Monte tish & sLIM, THE GOLDEN EAGLE

Monte has rehabilitated raptors for over 30 years. He worked with, and was greatly influenced by the renowned raptor expert Morley Nelson. When Nelson passed away, Monte took over full-time care of Morley’s Golden Eagle, Slim. 

Slim has had an illustrious life – she’s been the guest of honor for educational classes, fairs, book signings, sports shows, school festivals, PBS and much more. Monte and Slim have given about 1,500 classes, and reached more than 20,000 people.
