Raptor Fest 2020
weed pulling at dedication point with the Bureau of Land management
The Bureau of Land Management has an outside volunteer weed-pulling opportunity at Dedication Point in the Snake River Birds of Prey National Conservation Area on Friday, June 5th from 9-2. You will be assisting the BLM with weed removal at a recent restoration site and improving the site for future plantings. The area is a popular raptor viewing area and it is very likely you will also get to see some birds of prey! If you are interested, please contact Ann Marie Raymondi a1raymondi@blm.gov and identify one of the following time blocks: 9-11:30 or 12-2. You will be contacted by the BLM via email and your time will be confirmed.
*Volunteers should bring their own work gloves, water, sunscreen, and snacks.
Covid-19 and Social Distancing Measures:
All work will be conducted outside in a spaced-out manner. Volunteers will be at least 10 feet from one another and from BLM staff.
Masks are not required since all work will be performed outside in a spaced out manner; however, it is recommended you have one on hand in case you come into incidental contact with other participants.
Friday, June 5th from 9-11:30am & 12-2pm
