NCA Fall Planting Days
In celebration of National Public Lands Day and the Bureau of Land Management’s 75th Anniversary, join us out at Dedication Point in the Morley Nelson Snake River Birds of Prey National Conservation Area on Friday & Saturday October 22nd and 23rd from 9AM-2PM. We will be planting, cleaning up weeds and trash, and learning about the Birds of Prey NCA and all the amazing biodiversity it supports.
The BLM will provide snacks, a National Public Lands Day t-shirt, and educational materials. All work will occur outside. Due to risks associated with Covid-19, participants will be required to follow local health orders on face coverings and observe safe distancing.
Where? Dedication Point in the Morley Nelson Snake River Birds of Prey NCA. A map and directions will be sent out prior to the planting dates.
What to bring/wear: work gloves, weather appropriate clothes and hat, sturdy shoes, water bottle and snacks. There is parking and a bathroom at the site.
