Jennifer Jerrett - radio boise
Jennifer Jerrett is an award-winning radio producer, editor and natural sound recordist whose work has appeared on “Here and Now”, “Living on Earth”, “PRX Remix” and Wyoming Public Media. She is the creator and senior producer for “Telemetry”, a science and nature podcast for Yellowstone National Park, where she also developed a comprehensive natural sound library that includes more than 100 recordings of the Yellowstone ecosystem. Jennifer studied radio production with the Transom Story Workshop on Cape Cod, and later became a teaching assistant for the organization. As the Community Education and Content Director at Radio Boise, Jennifer develops radio storytelling and podcasting workshops for the community and helps expand the station's homegrown public affairs programming. She holds a B.A. from Arizona State University.
Monday, June 1st at 3pm - Raptor Haiku - Unleash your inner poet as you write and record your own raptor-inspired haiku. Selected haikus will broadcast on KRBX Radio Boise and the winning entry will be rewarded with a special prize to be announced at the conclusion of the festival (Saturday, June 6th at 6:45pm MT). During this short session, Jennifer Jerrett, Radio Boise's Community Education and Content Director, will walk you through the steps to write, record, and submit your haiku.
