NCA Field Trip!
The Snake River Raptor Festival field trip has filled up. Thanks to everyone who signed up. We’ll see you June 1st at 9:30am!
This two-hour field trip will run from 10 am to noon on Saturday June 1st, and will begin and end at Indian Creek Winery (location of Snake River Raptor Fest). The trip will include stops at Dedication Point (scenic Snake River Canyon overlook), and a ferruginous hawk nesting platform with nestlings. What to bring: appropriate clothing for the day's weather; sturdy shoes for short hikes; sunscreen; sunglasses; binoculars, if you own them (we will provide some for the trip). The trip will end as the Snake River Raptor Fest begins. There will be food trucks and beverages available at the Fest. Transportation for this trip will be a school bus, which holds 50 students. So, we are expecting to have enough room for ~35 attendees. This will be a free field trip. We have limited spots available, so we ask that everyone who signs up please be at Indian Creek Winery by 9:30 am.
Food and Beverages
Water and soda will also be available at the Indian Creek Gift Shop and at the food trucks. Hydration stations will be located throughout the venue.
HELP US REDUCE WASTE!
We will have reusable, stainless steel cups available for purchase at the BOPP booth,
and Indian Creek has plastic wine glasses with a Raptor Fest logo available in their gift shop!!
Feel free to bring your favorite reusable cup.
