bARB FORDERHASE - BIRDS OF PREY NCA PARTNERSHIP BOARD MEMBER

 Barb retired in 2016 from the Birds of Prey National Conservation Area where she had been the Education Specialist for 13 years.   Looking to remain involved with the NCA, she joined the Board of the Birds of Prey Partnership shortly after retiring.   

 Natural Resource education has been a big part of Barb’s career and retirement.   She worked as a seasonal naturalist in both Yosemite and Glacier National Parks, managed visitor centers, supervised staff presenting education programs, and designed/presented education programs in a variety of settings.    Besides being on the BOPP Board, she currently is a facilitator for Bird By Bird at Adams Elementary in Boise and part of a Project Learning Tree STEM team.
